Hello and welcome to the rob42.net forums.
I’ve started this because of a failed collaboration on a similar forum project; we had a difference of opinion about how the forum should look and what content to have, so the project didn’t really get going.
As you can see, this is an unusual forum, in so much as it’s not ‘forum software’ as such, rather it’s built on the WordPress framework. I’ve chosen it because it looks uncluttered and is a clean and easy way with which to run a forum.
Right now (Oct 2018), I’m the only one creating any content and it’s a long process, so please consider joining and helping me. You should be able to get what I’m doing, from the content that’s on here, so no need for me to explain, at this stage.
Thank you for your interest and I trust that you’ll find the information of use.
If you choose to become a member, and I hope that you do, then please use a password that can’t be bruteforced. My Passwords page should give you all the information you need to be able to create such a password. I know it’s a little long, but please take the time to read it; you may just learn something.
This notice is to comply with GDPR.
In respect of privacy, to which I believe we are all entitled, you’ll notice that you can view only your own profile. This enables you to see what information is being held about you, by this site, which is in line with GDPR, but not what is being held about other members. You’ll also notice that you can’t see who else is also logged in. Again, this is a deliberate action on my part as I believe it’s not only irrelevant, but also an invasion of privacy.
